It has been an unproductive week....ugh..I feel horrible. I hate it when I plan to do something and end up not doing it cuz by the time I'm supposed to do the thing, I become lazy and not in the mood to do the thing. Tomorrow (Friday) is supposed to be my lazy day. But since I've been lazy for the past few days, I should not be lazy tomorrow because I am now regretting that I've been lazy until today.
(My sentences are all over the place..)
NY is not a place to hang out if you don't have money. Seriously. I much prefer KL where I can just pick up my bf at his place and go lepak at Tasik Titiwangsa. Of course there are a lot of parks in NY but sadly, my bf is not here. So, lepaking sorang2 at the park is not such a good idea (unless you have a good book). So, what do you do when you don't wanna lepak alone? You go window shopping. And what will happen if you go window shopping? You end up buying things! Yeay!
I realized that even the cheapest thing that I buy will bring me joy. Yesterday, I had fun doing my monthly toiletries shopping, bought a bag for gym (not monthly), and some lounge baju (not monthly). The best part was shopping baju. I went to one of the cheapest place in town and bought some baju tido. A tank top for $2! A pair of shorts for $3! Waahhh can go crazy! And they all fit! ABC Superstore can be deceiving. At first glance you would think that all barang are cikai and low-quality, but if you're patient enough to do some clothes hunting, you'll find a super cute top for $3! But of course when I got home, the strap came off and I had to sew it. They're still low-quality..Hehehe..
I am dying to change my hairstyle because it is starting to get uncomfortable in this weather. Plan to have a medium-fun-with-heavy-bangs do. I've been searching for some not so expensive hair salons around town, but most of the 'trustable' ones are quite expensive. The places that offer cheap service would be in Chinatown or some ghetto neighborhood. Your hair will turn out either super straight (like those rebonded Chinese hair-do) or corn rows and braids (like our soul sistas). Oh! You can also get the blazing-red-oily-do like the mamasitas as well! Hahaha! Take your pick.. I don't mean to be racist, but I want my hair to be like the Minah Sallehs' hair. Kembang and shiny...
