Happy 2014!!

Happy New Year Everyone!

It's the 2nd day of 2014 and first day back at work. Well, it's not like I was on leave or anything like that hehe. The semester was on a break for 2 weeks but I couldn't take any annual leave. I had so little days to spare so I'd better save them for any emergency. Plus Khadeeja was not well a few days before Xmas. But the office is so empty! It gets very lonely and scary at times. I had no heart coming to work huhuhu...

Just a little recap of 2013:

1. Khadeeja celebrates her first birthday! We threw a small little party, only for family (initially) and friends. It was good ;)

2. Our house in Bandar Saujana Putra is completed and ready to move in! (NOT). Alhamdulillah the house was ready before the expected time, which is this year. Went to check out the place on Xmas day and we can't wait to start furnishing up! Of course it takes a lot of money. We'll do it bit by bit. The plan is for us to move after I'm done with my studies (item 3).

3. I plan to do my PhD in 2015 (so dead on it hehe), so this year I gotta work towards that.

4. Overall, 2013 has been a year of 'learning process' for me. I learned a lot about life: becoming a new mother, a working mom, a wife with a baby, a daughter-in-law, etc. A lot of overwhelming experiences for me. But most importantly, I grew stronger. Alhamdulilah God has been very kind to me.

Let's hope for a better year in 2014 in shaa Allah!
