Updates October 2013

I know it's already too late to with everyone Eid Mubarak (Raya Haji) hehe..but don't care!

This year is my first time doing the qurban, Alhamdulillah...The plan for next year is to do it for my lil' one ;) In less than 2 months she'll turn 1! And mommy is super nervous! Initially, we did not really want to do any celebration as I thought she would not remember the celebration of her first birthday pun. But the grandparents are excited, so perhaps we'll throw a small kenduri doa selamat kot, just for the grandparents, will probably invite her nanny as well and a few close relatives. No pony rides, clown, balloons or anything like that hehe.

Thank God the raya haji fell during the semester break so I could take a solid week off woohoo. We went back to Alor Setar by flight, knowing the highway is going to be jammed like crazy and I ain't looking forward to be stuck on the road for 10 hours with a baby. So we bought flight tickets at the last minutes, nasib baik MAS ada murah! Lucky us!

I definitely miss lazing around my parents house, eating good food, visiting relatives, chit-chatting with them and all. So Alhamdulillah. Butttt good times flies, before we know it, we're back on the road to KL. Sigh...Semua ni gara2 my office buat team building on the weekend after raya haji. Bleuuggrhh

For the team building, it was a 3 days 2 nights course at Seri Malaysia Port Dickson. This was the first time I had to leave Khadeeja so mommy sangatlah tidak looking forward for it. I couldn't even sleep the night before. So to ease my pain, my sister booked a room at Avillion PD, next door to Seri Malaysia, so dekat la sikit walaupun tak dapat jumpa hehe.

The week after the team building, I was down a fever. This was normal, I always kena fever bila balik dari team building. But to make it worse, my car was having a problem so I had to drive my husband's Neo (manual ok) to work for a few days. Read: work ok. I only took one day of MC and then straight to another 3-day course at the office. No excuse escaping as I'm the one who organized it! So sakit ke apa ke kena jugak datang. By Friday, I was so pancit. In fact, I'm still not fully recovered till today. Letih aje rasa.

I'm glad the hectic moments already went by. I'm looking forward for the Deepavali weekend that's coming.
