Skipping Work

I guess you guys have already know by now by looking at my previous entry that I'm a spa freak ;)

For the past few weeks my body has been aching and visiting the spa (or a reflexology place) is something that I would naturally do. This time around (and many times before), I vowed NOT to go to the spa due to my tight budget. So, I've been telling myself that the pain will go away and it's just temporary. But yesterday, my body-ache worsen. My whole body on the left side felt weak and there's pain at my shoulder, hip, butt, thigh, ankle, and feet. Only on the left side.

So, I had to 'response' to the 'calling'. I dug out my piggy bank for some cash so that I can get a massage at the spa. Before lunch time, I look up for some reflexology place near my office. Usually, if I'm in Shah Alam, I would go to the one in seksyen 13, a place called Beijing Reflexology. I really like that place. But since I decided to drop by during lunch time I had to find some place closer, and there's Kakiku Reflexology at SACC Mall. I've been to this place twice ancient ago. It's not exactly my favorite place compare to other places that I've been to. But, since I'm in a rush, I decided to stepped in anyway.

Big mistake.

I took the 40 minutes body massage treatment which cost RM 50. I was so put off when the receptionist handed me a used kain batik after I went into my little room. It has this horrible smell. By the way, most of the staff here are blind, including the receptionist. I guess that's the specialty of that place. I wanted to ask for a clean piece of cloth but nobody attended to me after that. Fine. So I changed into the kain and waited for the masseur, which took about 5 minutes (now that's a long wait). After 5 minutes, a masseur came in and began massaging me. She started from my waist and up to my shoulder, massaging that area slowly, for a good 40 minutes! It was barely a 'body' massage! No legs, no hand massage. I didn't had the guts to say anything to her because she was blind and nice, and I had wanted to walk out of the place from the moment I walked in. The fact that I had walked into that place on my own knowing that the kain and the massage bed stinks, it was myself to blame. I really didn't enjoy it.

I think that the owner should be more aware of the hygiene and service of that place. Not to mention, when I was being 'pampered' I heard some teenage kids were talking loudly. I saw them on my way out and they sure didn't look like customers. Annoying.

There goes my RM50.

P.S: I shall come up with some reviews of some the spas that I've been to.
